We believe blockchain technology represents one of the most transformative innovations of our time. We founded w3.fund to systematically explore and engage with the blockchain ecosystem.
w3.fund is a content- and community-focused venture capital fund that invests in early-stage Web3 startups and liquid crypto token strategies.
Since 2023, we have been operating w3.hub, a community and co-working space for the blockchain community with over 2,000 m² in Berlin — a collaborative and innovative hub for co-creating the digital future.

Portrait André Kanya
Entrepreneur first, investor second.
André Kanya launched his first online venture at the age of 16 in Cologne. Under the TECH.DE brand, he offered SMS and messaging services, while TECHSERVER.DE provided web hosting on self-managed servers.
After studying in Cologne and London, he wrote his thesis at Deutsche Telekom's in-house consultancy in Bonn and went on to help build tech startups in Munich, including for Holtzbrinck Ventures. Since 2011, André has been based in Berlin, where he actively invests across technology, real estate and various alternative asset classes.
Designing environments that connect people and expand our understanding of the world — guided by first-principle thinking and a techno-optimist mindset.
Driven by a deep fascination for emerging technologies and the dynamic potential of the crypto space, André began focusing on blockchain and Web3 in 2021 — culminating in the launch of w3.fund, a venture capital fund at the heart of a broader ecosystem.
Beyond his business ventures, André supports contemporary art and curates a number of cultural and community-driven event series.
